Frozen in Time

This photo was taken underneath a frozen waterfall, but in the midst of December the waterfall was actually proceeding to melt. With the melting in progress it created a very unique set of pictures. With this picture it took me a couple times to shoot mainly because at the worms eye view of this shot the water from the waterfall kept splashing onto the lens of the camera. With this in mind i had to react fast with a faster shutter speed and a 50mm lens to keep my focal point spot on. With this high shutter speed in mind it was perfect to actually capture the water falling in the background and the water under the ice of the waterfall. With such a low angle however it required me to get a little dirty and eventually led to me slipping and sliding underneath the waterfall.
