Dancing with flames

This photo was shot in the depths of mountain village in Telluride, Colorado. The theme behind this photo was to try and capture the true essence of the flame and almost tell a story through it. This shot took a very high shutter speed to capture the flame at its prime of the dance, and the aperture was as low as could possibly be to really keep the key focal point on the flame itself and deprive attention away from the background or the coal. Through post editing the photos colors where what was really taking away from the key point of the flame. So through depriving the photo of color is when true colors of life seeped through.
